The Hollywood Reporter has announced that DirecTV will be offering a sneak peek of fall TV programming to its subscribers. Whether or not anyone will want to view it is a whole other story.
The preview will include clips from all six broadcast networks, as well as premium services like HBO and Showtime. Each network will offer a 30-minute program with clips from shows premiering this fall. Subscribers can access these programs through a channel on their lineup, or through TiVo, which is built into about two million of the over 14 million DirecTV’s set-top boxes floating out there.
The programming will start in August and run through September, marking the beginning of the fall TV season.
